As our name clearly states, chicken is our specialty!
We use only plump Grade A chickens, cut into eight meaty pieces.
The pieces are hand-breaded before being battered in our own recipe.
That very special recipe contains no heavy herbs or hot spices.
Only neutral-tasting cottonseed oil is used to fry the chicken to
a golden brown. The result is delicious and uniquely Brown’s.
Quite simply, our customers have told us, “It Tastes Better”,
and we believe them.
But chicken is only the beginning. Our batter-dipped fresh whole
mushrooms have created a legion of followers and so have our fluffy
corn fritters. Brown’s also has a selection of pastas that
team beautifully with our great chicken, but are favored by many
as delicious stand-alone entrees, too.
Our homemade biscuits are baked fresh and continuously in our kitchens.
Our Super Side Order selection is perhaps the biggest in the business
with our restaurants typically offering a dozen and a half from
which to choose. Brown’s offers unmistakably delicious, good
ol’ fashioned down-on-the-farm goodness.
After all, down on the farm is where we started.
